Wow! This really was such a special and memorable part of our trip. We booked when we were booking our junk boat trip with indo China junk and I am so so glad we did. Our guide Thuy was so knowledgable, sweet and had a great sense of humour! The room was huge, clean and had everything we needed. The food was the best we had in Vietnam. We really enjoyed cycling through the village and seeing how the locals lived, meeting a village elder, learning the rice making process, seeing a pagoda, markets, rice wine making, fishing, water puppet show and making a delicious traditional dessert. We felt so privileged to have been able to take a step into the lives of traditional Vietnamese village life.
